Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist

We are looking for a marketer who is interested in owning our appearance on Google. We want someone who is obsessed with SEO and wants to be continuously optimising and identifying new opportunities for us to break through in new and existing key terms both organically and paid.

The Search Engine Marketing Specialist is a significant contributor to the strategy, execution and optimisation of our multi-channel digital customer engagement program. This role would suit someone who is passionate about SEO and content creation and has spent time working in an SEO in a B2B SaaS organization. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys writing content, tweaking it for ranking, A/B testing landing pages, and stays in the loop with the latest updates from Google.

About You

  • You are passionate about SEO and have minimum 2 years’ experience working in SEO roles.
  • You enjoy leveraging SEO to achieve business goals.
  • You know your numbers and can prove the success you’ve had with SEO campaigns in previous roles.
  • You enjoy writing content to power your SEO efforts.
  • You analyse data and provide evidence-based recommendations.
  • You have a sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success.
  • You are a team player and understand the benefits of different perspectives.
  • You have great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • You are experienced in Excel, Google Analytics, and Moz.
  • You are highly organized and have a strong ability to multitask and prioritise as new projects come in.
  • You are up to date with current SEO strategies and landscapes.
  • You have experience working in a B2B Lead Generation.

Responsibilities

  • Researching trends, keywords, competitors.
  • Creating new content for ranking and link building opportunities.
  • Monitoring key metrics to identify trends/successes.
  • Keeping up to date with Google Algorithm Updates and general SEO chatter.
  • Identifying new opportunities to improve ranking/site visibility.
  • Identifying link building opportunities for existing content.
  • Updating existing content to optimize for search engines.
  • Working with rest of marketing team to ensure that content efforts can be reused and repurposed across the buyer journey.
  • Maintain up to date reporting documents with key funnel metrics as well as SEO metrics.

Requirements

  • 4+ years’ experience in SEO with exposure to PPC in B2B organizations, preferably SaaS
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or relevant digital marketing qualification.
  • Proven track record of building and executing SEO strategies.
  • Examples of writing that have helped your SEO efforts.
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Ads. Certification is desirable but not essential.
