This month, we will release an eSpatial update. While there are a number of changes behind the scenes, the main points you will notice are:
Faster performance in Territory Manager
This release will improve the performance of Territory Manager by reducing processing times. Making Territory Manager faster and smoother will continue to be a priority for us as we release future updates.
Directly adding points-based territories to a map
When working with area-based territories, eSpatial automatically asks you if you'd like to add them to your map when you move into the Maps tab. This will now also be available on points-based territories.
When you switch from your points-base territory alignment over to a new map, eSpatial will ask if you would like to add your territories. This will bring all the points onto your map and color code them by territory name.
Once your points-based territory has been added to a map, you will be able to perform all the regular analysis available to you in the Maps tab, including creating routes, filtering, heat mapping and more.
Reset territory colors
A new button will be available in the Territory Panel that will generate a new color set for your territories. This can be useful when you've filtered down to a specific region with multiple territories and find the colors don't work well together. Just select the reset territory colors button to create a new set of randomly generated color options.
What's coming next?
We're already working on our next product release. We will continue to enhance Territory Manager and Territory Optimization, but we also have exciting plans for other areas of the platform.
Our future releases will include huge updates to eSpatial's routing capability, including a multi-day scheduling feature. We'll also be enhancing our Salesforce integration and a whole lot more.
