Easter is almost upon us! The combination of Easter and the northern hemisphere's spring brought rabbits to mind – we can't stop thinking about what the Easter Bunny might bring us! While we're waiting, we decided to look into a rabbit-themed map – so we've mapped the global distribution of different rabbit breeds. The map below shows how many different breeds of rabbits you'll find in a number of countries. If you live in a country like Australia, there's only one breed of rabbit – so you should be able to predict what the Easter Bunny...

Mardi Gras celebrations Lent is about to start – which means today is Mardi Gras (“Fat Tuesday”)! Cities around the world are celebrating the pre-Lenten period with a range of carnival-like celebrations.
