The organizers of World Book Night 2014 have created a map using eSpatial zip code mapping. Interact with the map below to discover the biggest Givers – by zip code – in the US.
What is World Book Night?
World Book Night is dedicated to engendering a love of reading. Each year in the US and beyond, tens of thousands of people – Givers – go out and distribute half a million free World Book Night paperbacks to light and non-readers.
This year, the non-profit organization decided to create a public map, using eSpatial mapping software, to highlight Givers across the US. Each Giver has been plotted according to their zip code location.
When you see the data on a map, it’s a pretty impressive feat to see so many good people participating in such an awesome endeavor.
We readers in eSpatial would like to wish World Book Night every success in this fantastic enterprise!
