eSpatial can now upload and plot data saved in the most common spreadsheet formats – those with the extensions .xls, .xlsx or .csv.
Most Excel spreadsheets containing location data can now be uploaded directly to eSpatial. This means it’s faster than ever to map spreadsheets.
Upload and map xls or xlsx data directly to eSpatial. There is no longer any need to Save As a csv file (though it will still work if you do that).
Edit and export datasets
You can also edit uploaded datasets (filtering them to particular regions, for instance) while in eSpatial and then use the Export command to save them as completely separate datasets. Alternatively, export them as a new spreadsheet document (in .csv format):
