How eSpatial mapping software helps clients locate a target market
eSpatial provides demographic datasets within your account. These can help create reports and, more importantly, reveal the location of your target market.

An example of how eSpatial helped a customer locate a target market
A New York-based retail company recently approached me wondering if eSpatial could help it choose the optimum locations for some new stores.
The company knew that its target market was females aged between 30 and 39 years, but were unsure which US states had the highest concentrations of this demographic.
I suggested that the client create a report using the pre-loaded Age/Sex (State) dataset within their account.
How the retail company used eSpatial to identify the optimum store locatons
The client created a simple report using the Age/Sex (State) dataset and was in turn able to examine the location of 30 to 39 year old females across the US.
The graduated color scheme adopted by eSpatial allowed the company to analyze the location of its target market very quickly and easily.
States in its report were colored and categorized according to the proportion of females aged between 30 and 39 within them (purple colored states had the highest proportion while light pink colored states had the lowest):
The client was therefore instantly able to identify the states in which it would be most beneficial to place a new store.
