Solutions - Enterprise Asset Managment

The management and maintenance of asset data is a critical task to large organizations, in particular utilities and public sector bodies. Spatial data is a powerful unique tool in the consolidation and maintenance of asset data. By providing a unique reference Spatial allows items to be uniquely identified across multiple registers and asset types. Spatial data also provides important information on the availability of assets and spares etc. that can significantly enhance organizational efficiency.

iSMART offers a number of key capabilities that make it ideal for use together with an EAM solution. iSMART?s unique network centric infrastructure and standards based integration capability allow it to be easily integrated into existing EAM applications. Furthermore iSMART?s range of client solutions ensure that there is an end-to-end integration between the field, where asset data is generated, and the back office.

iSMART's mobile capability means that operators in the field can directly update asset condition and performance to the live EAM environment guaranteeing that all data is consistent and up-to-date. This mobile capability is supported by Rule Based Editing which means that all updates are automatically validated before entry; Important asset data cannot be forgotten nor can components be incorrectly added to the asset base. In addition Network Tracing and Connectivity Models means that utility operators can itemize and validate all components in a network and report by network segment or event.
