Products - iSMART Editor

The iSMART suite includes iSMART Editor a network-centric and mobile-capable GIS tool for spatial data capture, viewing, and editing, that is customisable and extensible. This is As well as being a uniquely highly scalable and low deployment deployment- cost powerful multi-user GIS solution for Oracle, As well as being web deployed, it also supports offline and occasionally connected use with its unique capability to synchronise redline and digitising data back to Oracle Spatial (via iSMART server). ISMART iSMART Editor may also easily be used as a drop-in component adding these capabilities to web, desktop and mobile applications.

iSMART Editor works with the following data sets in Oracle:

•  Oracle Intermedia Imagery

•  Data from OGC Web mapping Services

It can co-exist seamlessly with other GIS tools, sharing data in Oracle and via OGC web services.

Also, iSMART provides a rich Java API and set of Java objects handling the viewing, editing, manipulation, analysis, and printing of spatial data. iSMART Editor is implemented using these components and its source code is supplied, allowing complete flexibility in customising and extending this tool.

iSMART Editor leverages the full power of iSMAR T Server, including role based security, clustering for scalability and fail-over, caching, web-based data management tools, etc. It provides a powerful enterprise-class data multi-user capture and editing solution for Oracle Spatial that is easily deployed .
