User interface

We support the following browsers:

  • Internet Explorer 7, 8 & 9.
  • Mozilla Firefox 3.6, 4, 5, 6 & 7.
  • Chrome 11, 12 & 13.
  • Safari 5 & 5.1.

No additional /downloads or plug-ins are required to use eSpatial OnDemand GIS.

Supported file formats

Supported file formats include:

  • Import: CSV files with addresses or x,y locations; DGN; GEOJSON; GML; SHP; TAB.
  • Export: BMP, GIF, JPEG/JPG, KML, KMZ, PDF, PNG, SHP, TIF/TIFF, selected feature attribute information as CSV.
  • Generate reports: CSV, HTML, PDF, RTF, XLS.

Integration capabilities

Integration capabilities include:

  • Configurable URLs to and from eSpatial OnDemand GIS.
  • OGC Web services (WMS, WFS/ WFS-T, GML), and the ability to connect to WMS services.

Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) deployment specifications

eSpatial OnDemand GIS is deployed in the cloud, on Amazon EC2, on the Fedora Linux operating system from Redhat, and with an Oracle Database. It uses an LDAP server for user authentication and tenant details.
