We’re pleased to announce that Eamon Walsh, our CTO, will be presenting a session at the Oracle Spatial User conference in Washington, DC in May.
Eamon will be presenting a partner session entitled “Oracle in the Cloud: GIS Software as a Service”. The session will cover:
- How eSpatial has deployed Oracle Spatial 11g on Amazon Elastic Cloud Computing Environment (EC2) to provide GIS Software as a Service.
- The technical approach to deploying, using, and managing Oracle 11g on Amazon Elastic Cloud Computing Environment (EC2).
- The benefits of this approach, lessons learned from deploying on EC2, best practices, and issues.
- A live demonstration.
