In the GIS industry we’re all familiar with the importance of geospatial data. However, it’s an understanding that the wider business world has not always shared.
So we were really pleased to hear that the United Nations has voted to form a committee on global geospatial information.
The committee will be charged with coordinating international dialogue and enhancing cooperation on spatial data infrastructures.
