Before joining eSpatial Ian headed up GIS Sales for Swift-LG. The first half of his career was spent in the Oil and Gas Exploration and Production market with companies such as Kvaener, Amec and Halliburton Brown & Root in Structural Engineering and IT Management roles.
Ian will also take the lead on eSpatial’s aggressive expansion in delivering solutions designed specifically for UK Local Government. eSpatial have developed a packaged offering addressing the needs of Local Government customers. The iSMART for Local Government Solution Framework, built on its core iSMART product set, delivers increased internal efficiencies and enhanced online services to the public through applications incorporating real time web mapping functionality. The key feature is Flexibility. Flexibility to deliver tailored solutions based on specific needs as Government departments increasingly look to spatial data for essential urban and rural planning decisions.
