eSpatial’s iSMART® GeoPortal provides a ‘thin’ client Geospatial data access component for PCI’s new GIMs product. iSMART is an Enterprise Grade GeoSpatial platform built on the industry standard Oracle 10g platform. iSMART’s GeoPortal provides a pure web user interface to interact with PCIs underlying mappingcentre workflow and product delivery features enabling online availability of image data for users within the enterprise, including access through SQL.
PCI provides the desktop data access, the ‘thick’ client data access via Geomatica®, PCI’s image management products and solutions software suite which enables users to access, visualize, analyze and update enterprise wide databases with fewer errors, less wasted time and greater productivity.

The combined solution provides a complete toolset for loading image data and associated metadata with an easy to use interface for access, image data management and manipulation.
